A Resolute Year in Review: 2019
As this year comes to a close, we look back at the Resolute highs in 2019. Year zero for the team was a time of fabulous success for Resolute Software in many respects — customer acquisition, team growth, partnership building, and a lot more. We want to thank our friends, family, customers, and partners for making it one to remember! If you feel you missed anything read below to catch up on the good, the better, and the fun stuff here at Resolute Software!
First things first! A Resolute Software year is shorter than a regular Earth year, as we all know. 😉 Hence, we commence with our big bang in April 2019, which announced the launch of Resolute Software and introduced our goals and vision. We used the opportunity to announce the services we offer, but more importantly, to present our team, define our values and how we believe we can make a difference. Just like our CEO, Hristo Georgiev framed it:
“We are focused on long-term projects and relations with our clients, and not just small projects for countless companies”.
Just over a week after the official launch, we joined forces with Progress, the leading provider of application development and digital experience technologies, to help their customers — organizations of all sizes and industries — to re-imagine their business and innovate to succeed in the new digital age.
As a new member of the Progress partner family, we also attended the Progress NEXT 2019 Conference. The event this year took place in Orlando, Florida and hosted more than 150 sessions on various hot topics such as mobility, modern UI, high-productivity application development, and web experience. Resolute Software was presented at the conference by our Co-CEO Hristo Georgiev and VP of Sales Sean Garguilo.

In September, less than six months after our inception, Resolute Software was incorporated in the U.S. Our rapidly growing venture was formally recognized by the U.S. legislation. Along with establishing a local presence in the States with our first office in Atlanta, Georgia right from the start, we reached yet another milestone in our effort to better serve customers and facilitate faster communication and collaboration with partners and business associates.
September was a very newsworthy month, indeed! Staying true to our core value to offer full transparency to our customers and partners into the way we work and shy away from the often-dubious processes most software development and consulting organizations employ, we launched a set of ready-to-use consulting packages. These digital maturity assessment packages offer a clear timeline, transparent pricing and mutually-agreed upon goals, and focus on four major areas of concern for organizations on the verge of digital transformation and modernization: User Experience, Software Modernization, Continuous Integration and Delivery, and Cloud Migration, and aim at helping them get a better grasp of their status quo and what the next steps should be.
Shortly after, we celebrated the launch of the Resolute freshly redesigned website. It was a real team effort, as each one of us contributed to the success of the project, from discussing the informational architecture to providing ideas and suggestions to coding to taking part in the professional photoshoot! The primary objective of the redesign was to capture our team dynamics and to illustrate our company values and culture. The individual can go a long way, but it’s the team that creates the synergy to reach exceptional results!
Meanwhile, the team kept growing. There are 13 Resolute employees at present, and we have the ambition to grow even more in 2020, looking to expand our engineering team to accommodate the growing interest from customers and prospects. Our business model, team, and culture have resulted in strategic hires of talented software engineers, designers, and IT professionals.
We made it clear right from the start: we don’t consider Resolute Software an outsourcing company! Rather, we’d like to challenge the status quo and help build a new ecosystem of service companies in which long-term value and care for the personal and professional development of the team is on focus.
And while the year was coming to an end and everyone was getting into a party mood, the Resolute team conquered yet another peak: we got ISO certified! ISO is an independent, non-governmental international organization with a membership of 164 national standards bodies. It brings together experts who share knowledge and develop market-relevant International Standards that support innovation and provide solutions to global challenges.
The ISO 9001:2015 that Resolute Software acquired, certifies that our software development systems and practices are up to the standard to consistently meet customer’s requirements, and that quality is constantly improved.
Even more Resolute in 2020
Expect to hear from us a lot more often in 2020: more partnerships are being forged, more conferences to attend and sponsor, and more strategic hires coming up:
- Be sure to check the Resolute Software website often as we are planning to roll out even more off-the-shelf consulting packages in an effort to help customers gain visibility into our consulting services and processes. We are also working on a few customer success stories to be launched in early 2020, so stay tuned.
- As a Progress partner, we’ll be attending Progress NEXT in Boston next year. We’ll also be present at CODY Connect in May 2020 as their digital modernization and software solutions provider. We’ll be revealing more events and conferences in the months to come. Additionally, expect to see our tech talent take part in podcasts and webinars next year, too.
- We’ll be adding a tech track to our Resolute Software blog, which will be curated by our engineering team. We can’t wait to start sharing accumulated knowledge on how we do things at Resolute Software and how you can solve challenges you might be struggling with. Coming up early next year!
